Cookie Policy

Last updated September 30, 2026

We keep cookies to a minimum: the ones we need to run the platform, and analytics cookies that load only if you say yes.

What cookies are

Cookies and similar technologies (including browser local storage) are small pieces of data a site stores on your device. We use them to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and — with your permission — to measure how the platform is used.

Strictly necessary

These are always active because the service cannot work without them. They are not used for advertising or profiling.

  • Session and refresh tokens — keep you signed in between page loads and let you resume your work securely.
  • Cookie choice (nia_cookie_consent) — remembers whether you accepted or refused analytics, so we stop asking.
  • Security and rate-limiting data — protects accounts against abuse and repeated sign-in attempts.

Analytics (optional)

If you accept analytics, we load Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and lessons help students most. IP addresses are truncated, advertising signals are switched off, and we never use this data to identify you personally.

  • _ga and _ga_* — distinguish visitors and sessions, set by Google Analytics 4 and typically kept for up to 24 months.
  • Nothing is loaded before you accept: refusing keeps the analytics scripts off your device entirely.

Embedded video

Lesson and webinar clips are hosted on YouTube. When you play a video, YouTube may set its own cookies under Google’s policies. If you never play a video, those cookies are not set.

Changing your choice

You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings — the consent banner reappears on your next visit so you can choose again. You can also block or delete cookies directly in your browser, though blocking the strictly necessary ones will prevent you from signing in.
